- The 1980 Chevrolet Corvette is a classic American sports car from the third-generation (C3) Corvette lineup, produced by Chevrolet. It’s known for its sleek, curvy “shark-like” design and strong V8 engine performance.
- This Chevrolet Corvette underwent a comprehensive, body-off restoration between September 2021 and March 2023, with a strong emphasis on preserving originality. Originally acquired as a reliable daily driver, the vehicle was found in remarkably unmodified condition, with minimal surface rust and no structural corrosion. Both the chassis and frame were in excellent condition for a car over 40 years old. The factory wiring harness was thoroughly inspected and confirmed to be intact, with no signs of tampering or splicing. The chassis was fully sandblasted and refinished using POR-15 rust-inhibiting paint. While the frame remained mounted to the body due to its exceptional condition, it was also treated and coated with POR-15 for long-term corrosion protection.
