How Buyback Agreements work at Maynard Auctions:

  1. Get in touch and let us know what asset you would like a Buyback Agreement on.
  2. We will then invite you to bring your asset to us by appointment or we can arrange to come inspect it elsewhere at your convenience. If authentication or further checks are required on the asset, these will then be carried out as required. Note: if third-party authentication is required, this will be at your own cost.
  3. Once we are happy with your asset, we will make you a cash offer to purchase it and agree a price in which you can repurchase it back, within a set time period.
  4. If all is agreed, you can receive your cash instantly and then you can choose whether to repurchase your asset back or not within the agreed time period. If you choose not to exercise the buyback option within the agreed period, Maynard Auctions becomes the full and permanent owner and has the right to resale the asset.

How Long is the Buyback Period?

This will be agreed as required but usually varies between 7 days and several weeks.
