Description:
A brand-new 250g cast gold bar of fine 24-carat gold by leading German refiners Heraeus. The weight, purity and a unique serial number are stamped directly into the bar along with the Heraeus logo.
Heraeus was founded in 1851 by the pharmacist and chemist Wilhelm Carl Heraeus in the town of Hanau, who took over his father's apothecary and used the premises to develop pioneering techniques for smelting platinum on behalf of the local goldsmiths. As time went by his company grew, expanding into other metals, medical technology, and quartz glass.
